持続可能な世界を築くため、
私たちができる取り組み。
貧困、紛争、気候変動、感染症。人類は、これまでになかったような数多くの課題に直面しています。このままでは、人類が安定してこの世界で暮らし続けることができなくなると心配されています。そんな危機感から、世界中のさまざまな立場の人々が話し合い、課題を整理し、解決方法を考え、2030年までに達成すべき具体的な目標を立てました。それが「持続可能な開発目標(Sustainable Development Goals）」です。
持続可能とは、何かをし続けられる、ということです。SDGsは、私たちみんなが、ひとつしかないこの地球で暮らし続けられる「持続可能な世界」を実現するために進むべき道を示した、つまりナビのようなものです。人類はいま、そのナビが示す方向に進めているでしょうか？ そしてあなた自身はどうでしょう？
さまざまな社会の課題とSDGsとのつながりを知り、「持続可能な世界を築くためには、何をしたらいいだろう？」「SDGsの達成のために、自分はどんなことができるだろう？」ひとりひとり、みんながそれを考えて、行動することが大切です。
Poverty, conflict, climate change, infectious diseases. Humanity faces numerous challenges like never before. There are fears that if this situation continues, humanity will not be able to continue living in this world in a stable manner. Out of this sense of crisis, people from all walks of life around the world discussed, sorted out the issues, came up with solutions, and set specific goals to be achieved by 2030. These are the Sustainable Development Goals.
The SDGs are like a navigation system that shows us the way forward to realize a “sustainable world” in which we can all continue to live on this planet, which is unique to all of us. Is the human race now moving in the direction indicated by the navigation system? And what about yourself?
What about yourself? What can I do to help achieve the SDGs? It is important for each and everyone to think about these questions and take action.

つくる“責任”、つかう“責任”。
株式会社モンスターは作り手として、できる限りの在庫を持たないこと、受注生産を主な業務とすること、これらを心がけています。その対策のひとつとして、一部の製品では3DCGによるサンプル制作を取り入れ、物質を介さずにお客様とのコミュニケーションを図ることも可能にしています。
このような取り組みにより、余分な生地や素材を使用機会を削減し、昨今の衣類の大量生産の弊害である廃棄問題、流通の際に発生するエネルギー問題に貢献できると考えています。
またお客様にも生産した衣類をより永く愛着を持って使用していただけるように、リペア業務も行っています。ただ単に衣類を直すことに終始せず、作り手として衣類を大切に使っていただくこと、お客様との末永いお付き合いをさせていただくこと、これこそがわたしたちが持つべき責任であると考え、日々の生産活動に取り組んでいます。
As a creator, Monster Inc. strives to keep as little inventory as possible, and to make make made-to-order products as its main business. One of the measures we have taken is to incorporate 3DCG sample production for some of our products, which also allows us to communicate with our customers without the use of material.
We believe that these efforts will reduce the opportunities to use extra fabrics and materials, and contribute to the waste problem that is a side effect of the recent mass production of clothing, as well as the energy problem generated during distribution.
We also offer repair services so that our customers can use the garments they have produced with lasting attachment. As a manufacturer, we do not simply repair garments, but we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure that our garments are used with care and that we can build long-lasting relationships with our customers.

ジェンダー“平等”を実現しよう。
株式会社モンスターでは、従業員の約9割を女性が占めています。求人では性別を不問にしているため、結果としてこのような割合となっていますが、従来より、女性にも安心して働いていただけるよう、産休・育休についても法律で定められた期間を適応しています。
また、弊社は勤続50年以上のベテランスタッフが今でも活躍するなど、女性の力に支えられている歴史があります。もちろん男性従業員も同じように活躍しています。
弊社では今後もより「ジェンダー平等の実現」に貢献できるよう、日々の活動に取り組んでいきます。
At Monster Inc., approximately 90% of our employees are women. This percentage is a result of our gender-neutral recruiting policy, but we have traditionally applied the legally mandated period of maternity and paternity leave to ensure that women can work with peace of mind.
In addition, our company has a history of being supported by women, with veteran staff members who have been with the company for more than 50 years still active in the company. Of course, male employees are equally active.
We will continue to engage in daily activities to contribute more to the “realization of gender equality.
