モンスターの創業は1949年(昭和24年)。
福井県武生(たけふ)にて、創業者である草桶敬山が妻の君代と足袋を縫製する仕事を始めたのが会社の原点です。
足袋づくりから始まったモンスターのモノづくりは、70年に及ぶ社歴の中で、割烹着、肌着、下着、ニットシャツ、ドレスシャツ、ゴルフウェア、スキーウェアなど
様々なアイテムを縫製してきました。
世代を重ね、積み上げてきた経験が、目に見えない会社の大事な資産となり、現在では高級レディースウェア、メンズウェアを主に縫製しています。
またファッション以外では企業向けユニフォームなど、高度な縫製技術を活かしながら縫製工場として挑戦の場を広げています。

Monster was founded in 1949.
The company’s origins can be traced back to 1949, when founder Keizan Kusaoke and his wife Kimiyo began sewing tabi socks in Takefu, Fukui Prefecture.
Over the 70 years of Monster’s history, we have sewn a variety of items such as kappogi, underwear, underwear, knit shirts, dress shirts, golf wear, and ski wear.
