JR福井駅前にある福井市自然史博物館分館、通称セーレンプラネットは福井市自然史博物館分館運営グループが運営している施設です。
福井の玄関口にある博物館として、また自然科学を楽しく学べる場としてのセーレンプラネットには、宇宙に関する様々な展示物があり、そしてリアル8K（ハイビジョン映像の16倍）の最先端をいく内経17mの大きな水平型デジタルドームシアターがあります。
プラネタリウムでは迫力ある映像を通して壮大な宇宙の存在を身近に感じることができ、子供から大人までが貴重な体験をすることができます。

Located in front of JR Fukui Station, the Fukui City Museum of Natural History Branch, also known as Seiren Planet, is a facility operated by the Fukui City Museum of Natural History Branch Management Group.
Seiren Planet is a museum located at the entrance to Fukui City and a place where visitors can enjoy learning about natural science, with various space-related exhibits and a large horizontal digital dome theater with an inner longitude of 17 meters that is at the cutting edge of real 8K (16 times higher than high-definition video).
The planetarium provides a valuable experience for children and adults alike, allowing them to feel close to the grandeur of the universe through powerful images.
今回、セーレンプラネットのスタッフである学芸員さんたちが着るユニフォームをSAMUEでつくらせていただくことになりました。
コンセプトを「宇宙について教えてくれる先生」たちが着るユニフォームとし、白衣コート、半袖シャツ、パンツの3アイテムをつくりました。
スタッフさんたちからは、洗濯しやすさ、動きやすさなどいろいろなリクエストをいただき、コート用の生地は軽くてストレッチ性が特徴の生地を選び、特別に撥水加工を生地にほどこし汚れが付きにくい生地をオリジナルでつくりました。

SAMUE was asked to make uniforms for the curators who are the staff of Seiren Planet.
The concept of the uniforms was to be worn by “teachers who teach about space,” and we created three items: a white coat, a short-sleeved shirt, and pants.
The staff members made various requests, such as ease of washing and ease of movement, and we chose a light and stretchy fabric for the coat and specially treated the fabric with a water-repellent finish to make it stain-resistant.
インナーに着る半袖シャツのポイントは、福井の写真家が大野市の六呂師高原から撮影した福井の星空をシャツ全体に転写プリントし、福井を代表する自然科学博物館にふさわしいオリジナルのプリント生地をつくりました。
メッシュのポリエステル生地で洗濯をしてもすぐ乾き、シワにもならず、またコットンライクなので着心地がさらっとしています。

パンツの生地はストレッチ感と風合いの膨らみ（やわらかさ）が特徴のダンボールと呼ばれる生地をつかっています。
テンションのキックバックもしっかりありながら、軽さもあってパンツにはもってこいの生地です。ポリエステル生地ですから洗濯してもシワにもならず、速乾性もあります。ダークネイビーの色はスタッフさんたちに選んでもらいました。

The pants are made of a fabric called “corrugated cardboard,” which has a stretchy feel and a bulky (soft) texture.
It is a great fabric for pants because it is lightweight while also having a good kickback in tension. The polyester fabric does not wrinkle when washed and dries quickly. The dark navy color was chosen by our staff.
コート、インナー、パンツのトータルコーディネイトでのユニフォームをつくらせてもらえましたので、スタッフの方々と一緒に、宇宙の先生にふさわしい知性的であり個性的なユニフォームをつくることができました。
来館する子供たちからは早速、”はかせ！”と呼ばれるようになっているということです。

We were allowed to create a total coordinated uniform of coat, innerwear, and pants, so we were able to work with the staff to create a uniform that was both intelligent and unique, befitting a space teacher.
The children who visit the museum immediately started calling me “Hakase!” (Hakase!) by the children who come to the museum.
